CASUAL DATE NIGHT ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IN CARLSBAD CALIF.

There are a lot of things about Carlsbad that make you feel at home. The quaint SoCal town has cute streets, The Goods Doughnuts, darling shops and the local’s laid back personalities give the entire place a good feel. This little surfer town is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the neighboring cities, Los Angeles + San Diego.  Perfect location for these two who enjoy a good donut, quality time, sunshine and fresh salty air.

POINT DUME SURPRISE PROPOSAL // MALIBU PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER

I arrived an hour early to make sure I had the entire area covered. Heart pounding, I saw them pull up in their car. As they made their way to the hill, I started the treck up and they followed. Liam knew who I was and that I’d be wearing a yellow backpack, so as they followed me, Addie had no idea I was actually there for her proposal! As we made our way to the top of Point Dume, I let them pass me to get to the perfect spot for Liam to drop to one knee. MY WORD, the anticipation was killing me!! It takes one split second to capture this moment, and I didn’t want to miss it.

Los Angeles Lifestyle Fashion Photographer / Malibu, Ca. / Winter Campaign Shoot

A few months back I was approached by the sweet women of this incredible company. Of course I'm all about a good clean brand of clothing, but I'm also all about a group of women who are out for the good of others. That's what the ladies at CJLA are all about. Encouraging other women. I love these ladies and what they're all about.

This shoot allowed me to creatively express myself, share their brand + dive into commercial photography.

Christine Caine Lifestyle Photos

I’m still in awe of how things work out in the world of faith. In a transition of moving my business across the states (NE>CA), not knowing where my clientele will all pour in from (just recently realized I had no reviews on google, whoops) had left me anxious at times. I had prayed so many times for the clients that God wanted for me, which means real people that He wanted to me to meet, know and help share their hearts and their story. Over and over I prayed, my friends prayed and I had nothing but FAITH to rely on. Because obviously my clients weren’t coming in from Google reviews. God introduced me to this woman, Christine. Believe it or not, but I actually had never heard of her or her story. When I was initially contacted about doing their photos I had to ask Clay if he knew who she was. Of course he had heard of her. :) Showing up to their home and getting to know them briefly as a family was the best introduction to this woman’s ministry that anyone could have asked for. Being in her joyful presence, I immediately saw what people were drawn to. Nick (her husband) even carried my gear back up from the beach after we had finished the shoot. What true servants these people are. The fame + spotlight that this family has been in is a true testimony that they are all about God’s glory. I admired this, as Clay and I have been in ministry for many years, and believe me, we’ve seen even small amounts of fame go to people’s heads.
