waking up at five in the morning to fresh air and a dark sky. we drove up a steep street that winded around the natural landscape. 

after parking and rubbing our eyes to wake up a bit, we started our little morning adventure with red rock underfoot. 

the sun rose over the enormous red rock formations. the cool morning air filled our lungs with life. this was our morning in sedona, arizona.
